Еducational Books in Ukrainian Diaspora as a Factor of Preserving of National Identity

Abstract

The educational books of Ukrainian diaspora as an important cultural and spiritual basis for preserving national identity of our compatriots in the countries of settlement and ensuring a dialogue between Ukraine and the world are analyzed.

The cultural and educational needs of the Ukrainian people in emigration, the problems of establishing educational system and publishing deal in order to provide Ukrainian schools with educational literature are considered.

The role of eminent personalities of educational and publishing deals in the diaspora who have done much to create a positive image of Ukraine in the world and to establish a cultural and an educational dialogue between Ukrainian and other nations is indicated.
