Widening of Horizon of Ukrainian Studies: Naratological searches
Abstract
In the article the new stage of development of Ukrainian Studies is examined in the period of deep transformations at the end of XX and the beginning of XXI century that needs recomprehension of mental and behavioral strategies, transition from subject reality (ethnographic, geographical etc.) to reality, that is constructed in consciousness, in the semantic understanding of the Ukrainian world, in personality knowledge.
It stipulated the research of Ukrainian Studies through the prism of epistemology, that strengthens the intellectuality: comprehension of bases of experience, values, life world of Ukrainians, Ukraine in philosophical-scientific time-dimensional historicity, study of combination of traditionally withstand approaches with new. Marked basic landmarks of recomprehension of inheritance of Ukrainian Studies, horizon of Ukrainian Studies is extended by a way by the study of sciences, on the example of "anglistics" and similar sciences in other countries.
The special attention is tied down to the role of narrating nature of human behavior in a story/telling that opens up in three narrative parts – author/composition/reader. The use of narrative method in research of Ukrainian Studies extends the horizon of study of science.
