Abstract

The author considered the task of Ukrainian culture and cultural institutions of the state during the Russian-Ukrainian war on the concrete example of the activity of Museum of Books and Printing Museum of Ukraine, located on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Emphasis is placed on the value-meaning aspects of cultural museum practices, which allow us to consider Ukrainian culture as a weapon in the fight against racist propaganda and PSYOP.
Ukrainian culture, territory, and people's lives are the values for which the blood of Ukrainian citizens and their friends from other countries is shed. This is especially important at the time of Trumpism's attack on democracy in the world. Ukrainian intellectuals must play a leading role in obtaining a just peace for Ukraine. After all, what are centers of "normal" life even during such cataclysms, such as non-working theaters, libraries, museums, etc. It is culture that inspires hope for the possibility of returning to better times after Ukraine's victory.
The Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine (MKDU), which carries out significant work on preserving and studying the cultural book heritage of Ukrainians; formation and confirmation of the Ukrainian identity of the country's adults and children; rehabilitation measures for combatants, popularisation of activities promoting Ukraine-centric moods among citizens, etc.
The value-meaning universe of Ukrainian culture is based on the system of values developed over the centuries of Ukrainian history of formation, development and self-preservation of the Ukrainian people. The cultural institutions of the Ukrainian state played and continue to play a huge role in this process. After all, it is culture that is the way of existence and self-representation of the ethnic group in the space and time of history. Today, Ukrainian culture is a real weapon in the war with the Russian aggressor, a means of active forming Ukrainian identity. First of all, among the younger generation of Ukrainian citizens.
Thus, culture during the war is also a weapon to fight against a dangerous enemy along with the armed resistance of the armed forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, political diplomacy of the state, volunteer activities of the civil society of Ukraine, partnership assistance of civilized countries of the world and supporters of Ukraine on a global scale; as a way of resisting Putinism and Trumpism.
