Endanger to National Safety in the Sphere of Identity of the Crimea Ethnic Groups at the Beginning of the ХХІ century

Abstract


The article analyzes the specifics of the formation of ethnic identity of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, special attention is paid to linguistic and cultural as well as social identity of the inhabitants of the peninsula in the early twentieth century because of the threat to national security, the manifestations of separatism and disintegration tendencies and loss of national sovereignty.

In order to develop a strategy aimed at preserving national identity in the conditions of globalization challenges for Ukrainian state and society must focus on creating a single cultural space as a major factor in consolidating national idea formation and development of Ukrainian statehood.

One national identity creates only identifying the scope, while a set of ethnic, cultural and regional identities is original for every individual and separate communities. Thus, the Ukrainian national identity is the "ideal type", which, on the basis of common interests and values ought to be individual and communal identity in society. National interests that lie in maintaining the integrity of the state and its strengthening and consolidation of society necessitate common to most communicative society foundations.
