Preservation of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity as a Factor of Interethnic Harmony in Ukrainian Society

Abstract

The article is based on a comprehensive analysis of modern theoretical achievements of scientific thought investigated the experience of understanding the problems of international relations. It is determined that ethno-cultural diversity is seen by the Ukrainian government as undeniable value and a legal framework conducive to the development of cultural, linguistic and religious identity of the citizens of Ukraine of all nationalities. It is concluded that the current ethno-cultural and ethnic policy of Ukraine is aimed to consolidation of Ukrainian society and the preservation of the identity of all ethnic communities.
